Longhorn Steakhouse - Louisville

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. The mushroom appetizer was delicious. Our steaks were perfect! And we enjoyed the atmosphere, not as loud as some other restaurants. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

We arrived for dinner around 5:30 pm on a Saturday, registered with the hostess, and there was about a 35 minute wait so, we managed to sit at the bar until our table was ready. It was ready in about 25 minutes. During our wait and throughout dinner, it was uncomfortable cold in the restaurant,so I put on a sweatshirt and my wife a sweater. We keep those in the car just in case we go to a restaurant and it is cold. Other patrons in the restaurant were complaining as well about how cold it was in there. Our server, Jessica O, was fantastic. She always checked on us to make sure all was in order and had a very pleasant attitude. We both ordered the Filet, my wife a 6 ounce and me a 9 ounce. Both prepared perfectly and tasted very good. Along with our meal, we had salads, baked potato and asparagus. My wife had a glass of wine and I drank just water. Our total bill before tip, came to $62.61. The only reason I did not give a five star rating was due to how cold it was in the restaurant. One should feel comfortable while having dinner, and do to the cold, we were a bit on the uneasy side. Would we go back? Yes we would but, we will take our sweatshirt and sweater with us.

I'm usually more impressed. My server was good but I ordered my steak medium and it came out mostly well. They took it back for a recook and after 15 minutes and everyone else was finished they brought another and same thing. I just feel like cooking steaks correctly should be a priority and a steak house.

This review is based on numerous visits, but in particular this one. my mother loves her brot. so she wanted to celebrate her birthday in longhorn. so our party of three went there on a Wednesday night. It was surprisingly crowded and we had about 15 minutes waiting for our table. when I told the hostess that we celebrated the 93rd birthday of my mother, we were treated like a royal treatment. our server, jaime, was very attentive during our meal. we ordered the salmon, a full ribbed strap and a 12 ounce sirloin. all the escaped came with two sides or an salate and one side. at the end of our meal brought jaime beautifully decorated icespoon with whipped cream with a single illuminated candle on the top. this was a free surprise for the birthday “Mädchen”. she enjoyed everything. we like longhorn because of the warm brotes, tasteful eating and unusual good service. even if it's a chain restaurant, we'll get diners again.

Bad visit! Called ahead and then watched numerous people come in and be seated. Waited 25 minutes (1 hour and 20 minutes after I called) hostess told I had to wait at the end of the line behind every one else that was in line! What is the advantage of calling ahead?Ordered a drink and was told they could not make it because their blender was broken, asked for another and was told they did not have the ingredients.My husband was served his Salad, after 5 minutes wait i asked another waiter for mine. My dinner was served and it was my steak and chicken! I had to get another waiter to correct it and get the correct order. Then was charged an extra $30 on the bill! This was supposed to be a nice dinner for my 40th wedding anniversary! Thanks, oh yeah the food was good.
