The staff member was extremely friendly and took our order, then promptly brought the food outside to us when it was ready!

I ordered carryout in-store at 1:27 PM. The restaurant wasn't very busy, with just a few other carryout orders ahead of mine. However, it took over 20 minutes to prepare a French dip with potato salad, which felt excessive. I'm not a fan of the new setup where customers have to serve their own drinks. While it's not a huge issue, it raises the question of why I'm being asked to tip. Am I tipping for someone taking my order or for the kitchen staff preparing the food? Additionally, I picked up my own order, and I found the food to be just okay—not anything to write home about. It seems like the items are pre-made and just heated up.

Food always excellent here. This day service was above and beyond. I had dietary restrictions they cheerfully accomodated.

AC was a bit too low and wanted to go outside, but people were smoking.
