Royals Hot Chicken - Louisville

I was in Louisville over the MLK weekend, during this time I ate in several big restaurants. The hot chicken sandwich at Royals is the hands down the best I have eaten. It was so delicious, no description I could post would be fair. I washed it with a chocolate-bone milkshake. If you are in Louisville and love food, don't miss this place!!

The sandwich I had today is definitiw in the top 10 best things I've ever eaten. as vegetarian, I have the hot tofu sandwich. perfectly seasoned, a little sweet, hearty, a beautiful amount of heat and simply delicious. I could eat another one now. also the cole Slav was delicious. 11/10 would go again.

The hunch was good. pretty standard. extra hot was very spicy, but not I will die spicy. they serve alcohol. the restaurant was recommended.

The chicken pliers were a bit too hot for me, but the meat itself was very delicate. Do not forget to delete the heat through the milkshake. You can also buy a souvenir t-shirt at the checkout.

Loved the is place. I had the regular hot chicken and it was a decent amount of spice and sweet (does have cinnamon and sugar as part of the blend). Containers for outside seating are an amazing touch. Would love to go back next time I am in town!
