Great place to grab a bite and a beer. You won’t find more comfortable seating anywhere, staff is nice. Beer selection is great, and the best thing is you can order beer by the liter.
My first visit here and it was really good. I had the dew drops frankfurter and the brussel sprouts. The sprouts were phenomenal. They were a bit sweet and tender with some crumbled yummy bacon and I believe a maple syrup drizzle on them. I like the atmosphere which is very welcoming. The dew drops frankfurter had some beer cheese, sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers on top. If I had one complaint it would be that they did not offer a lunch menu, however, I can't wait to go back and try some of the other offerings.
Overall, this is a decent spot for larger groups, but it can become quite noisy very quickly. The food is typical of a German-style restaurant, featuring dishes like bratwurst, schnitzel, and pretzels with beer cheese. I apologize for the half-eaten food in my photos—I was quite hungry! Below, you can see a liter of hefeweissbier alongside a Bavarian bratwurst served with red cabbage and sauerkraut.
This was our first time dining at The Hall, and it was a decent experience. It was better than just okay, but not outstanding. The service was excellent—our seating was quick, our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived in a timely manner. However, the food itself was just average. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with fries, while my companion had a brat. We also shared an appetizer of potato cakes, which unfortunately arrived alongside our main dishes. I would say the potato cakes were the highlight of my meal. My schnitzel was slightly overcooked, and the fries were quite ordinary.
