Ward 426 - Louisville

Just want to talk awesome Ward 426 is The food was amazing and was cooked to order I highly suggest trying this place out asap.

I've eaten at Ward 426 many many times and they never disappointThe restaurant is huge with a awesome back patio.

I'm in Louisville visiting friendsLucky for me, my friends took me here! We had a great dinner and we closed the place down.

Not my kind of place. Bar /tavern side had shrieking, raucous customers on a day when no one around. Really a tasting menu, teeny plates, teeny portions, poor value. Waitress told me that the green peppers in my mussel soup were mild- they were not and had to spit out with my mouth on fire. Truly embarassing when I was being treated. They did give me asparagus instead. Their only vegetable. They did not notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit on in the tavern/ bar area but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place if you eat high healthy protein and veggies like I do. I do not like to leave a restaurant feeling bloated with too much food but neither do I want to leave hungry. Their coffee was good after the meal.

Shared 4 plates. Scallops perfectly cooked, sauce not very flavorful, chased the small amount of peas around the plate. Beet plate was good. Tuna Poke had strings of supposedly seaweed salad, chips were sparse and weren't wasabi powdered. When requested more chips, answer was "not sure, but will check." Returned with 4 chips. Seemed pretty peculiar that the smoked bluefish and avocado toast was served with bluefish on one toast and avocado on the other.
