Applebee's Grill - Loveland

While the bartender is working hard, I noticed three waitstaff standing around on their phones, which is frustrating. The floors are in need of a good sweeping, and the overall cleanliness suggests poor management; the place feels quite dirty. I even asked the bartender if she could dim the lights, but she was too busy to address my request. It’s confusing why there aren’t more staff members assisting when three are just standing by, seemingly doing nothing. I hope this review helps management see the issues at hand. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, but my recent experience was disappointing. When I received my to-go order, it came without utensils, and the bag was so tightly sealed that I had to tear it open. I left my jacket behind and had to go back, only to find the same staff still unproductively standing around. The bar was cluttered with dirty plates and glasses, while clean ones were awkwardly placed nearby, waiting for someone to put them away. I noticed the manager—wearing what looked like a Hawaiian shirt—doing nothing but chatting with the three staff members on their phones, completely oblivious to the chaos around him. He even went into the restroom, apparently too busy to help. This situation is unacceptable.

The camera clearly didn't get to eat first! I love this location more each time I visit. I think my server last night was named Rosie, and she was incredibly sweet and funny. I adored her Valentine’s nails! She was extremely patient with us as we took our time deciding what to order. Usually, we come for the half-priced margaritas and appetizers during the late-night happy hour (which I’m so grateful exists since my work hours are often all over the place), but last night we decided to go for full entrees. The two for $32 deal was fantastic; it included both of our entrees and an appetizer, which really saves money. The Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp was amazing—I swapped the mashed potatoes for steamed broccoli, which turned out perfectly cooked, thanks to the sizzling plate the dish is served on. The chicken was moist and juicy, and the seasoning was spot on. The four cheese mac with honey pepper chicken was quite filling, striking the perfect balance between sweet and savory, and he mentioned it hit the spot. We usually sit at the bar to avoid the wait, but opted for a booth this time. It was clean, cozy, and overall a very relaxing and enjoyable alternative to cooking and cleaning at home. I've been here many times and will definitely be back for more!

I ordered the Whiskey Bacon Burger along with the Perfect Strawberry Margarita, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, the margarita was flavorful, and the water was incredibly fresh—definitely a 10/10 experience. My server, Rylan, provided exceptional service as well. To top it all off, they were showing the CSU CU football game, which made for great entertainment, especially since CSU performed well in the first half! I highly recommend this Applebee's location to anyone, and I think Rylan deserves a pay raise for the excellent job he did.

I always love Applebees! They have the best servers by far! And I love their cheeseburgers and wonton tacos!!

We came here Saturday night. It was close our hotel. We arrived hungry! We were seated in the bar. No wait. But... Slow service. We ordered a Caribbean salad. It was just all right. We had a small order of loaded mashed potatoes they were pretty good. The service was OK but a little scatterbrained. Do you know what you're getting when you go to an Applebee's.
