La Campagnola - LOVERE

The restaurant is situated on a fairly dangerous bend at the southern end of the town centre. Only a small sign gives it away but it is well worth finding. From our experience it serves up good basic Italian dishes. Portions are generous and prices are low. There is also a pizza oven in which fairly large pizzas were being produced. I had a vegetarian risotto with a barola sauce producing a fairly pink delicious dish. We shared a sweet course which was also very nice.

It does not look like much from the outside, but is very nice with old vaulted stone ceilings inside. We loved their Pasta fatto a mano (handmade fresh pasta) and they also serve nice pizza. Their desserts are to die for , too lots to choose from on a trolley! We were in Lovere 4 nights and ate here twice! Would recommend it to anyone and will come back! Grazie mille!

We will definitely come back! a rustic and cosy restaurant. very friendly owners who pampered us from the beginning to the end of the lunch. the food was delicious, we ate a fish appetizer, noodles to the drain and a fish soup. it was all super plentiful and exquisite! the honest price, for what you eat! super super recommended!
