Gary's Restaurant And Bar - Lowell

I had a burger for lunch. The burger was good and the atmosphere was nice. There wasn't really a lunch menu but the offerings were good. Beware if you could be put off by a dollar and 40 charge for credit card use.

My husband and I decided to check this place out. I thought it was okay, the place was clean, the waitress was nice and attentive, drinks were good, the food was good except the shrimp ceviche. I will be back in the near future and maybe try other dishes.

A Latin American restaurant but you wouldn't really know it by the name. Was here with a large group of guys after white water rafting and they put together a large table for the ten of us. I can't remember the name of the dish I got but it was very tasty and quite filling. It was a rice dish with plantains, pork belly, shrimp, and egg. No room for dessert. Outdoor patio was real nice.

Have been to Gary's twice now and both times I walked away happy as a clam. The highlights have been the Mofongo with coconut shrimp (sounds like a weird combination but it was amazing), sweet plantain bacon croquettes and the tres leches cake. The caipirinha is great as well.

Very nice atmosphere and great music playing in the background. Food was fresh and delicious. I will visit again.
