Sea Steak - Loxley

We ate here because we were at the motel next door. Due to one of the reviews here we went with some concerns about what the costs could be. When we arrived, we found that the prices for a casual American food restaurant were extremely reasonable and appropriate. We ordered cheeseburgers, which are generously dimensioned, delicious and served cake hot. With them came some of the best baked knitterries I ever had (nice and crispy on the outside, not ground or mushy). We believe that checking that a few appetizers cost her $60 has been released for the wrong setup. It just makes no sense to review this place. (We found that there was a similarly named restaurant 26 miles away, so maybe it was a case of wrong identity). EAT HERE! You're not sorry.

We were traveling through Loxey and came across this diner. We decided to stop for dinner and we are so glad we did. The food was excellent but the service was amazing. The owner Mike waited on us and is a true Southern Gentleman. Other diners in the restaurant were so friendly and striking up conversations with us. The portions were big and the owner even made my salad extra big since I didn't order an extra side dish. It was a truly amazing atmosphere with the friendliest people you will ever meet.

The homestyle cooking is just good old comfort food. Great value. Owner and staff actually come around and make certain you are full and happy. We want to try dinner there, heard the steaks are awesome.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a warm smile. The server was delightful! The food was incredibly tasty! We can't wait to be back in the area so we can dine here again!

I experienced very quick and friendly service during dinner on a Saturday. I tried both fried and grilled quail, but I really preferred the grilled version. My eight-year-old gave the fried ones a thumbs up—three times!
