Hayashi - Lubbock

My friend brought me to this restaurant, and while the sushi is decent, I’ve had much better food, experiences, and service elsewhere.

The food was incredible, but it was too hot in the restaurant to fully enjoy my meal. They really need to turn on the air conditioning.

Zach is fantastic! He is definitely one of the best servers I've encountered. The sushi bar was a bit backed up and the wait was longer than expected, but he kept us informed and made sure we were well taken care of during that time.

Fried rice a little bland compared to other Japanese steak houses I've visited.

I ordered Sushi to pick up. The sushi was ready on time the staff was friendly. Once we got home and had our sushi, I was quite disappointed. The tempura shrimp inside was so cold and seemed like it was cooked the day before. Overall, the roles were very average.
