Whilst staying in Lucca we tried a few gelato's but once we found this one there was no comparison anywhere in Lucca and possibly all of Italy, which really means the world as this is the home of the gelato. The staff are superb and very helpful. The quality of the ice cream is phenomenal. And the cakes well have a look at the photos. If in Lucca of an evening take a stroll through S. Elisa gate to this gelato you will not be dissappointed. Be prepared to queue with the locals for a few minutes as this is a popular shop!!
Couldn't resist popping in to have all my senses pleasantly accosted by all theirs desserts and ice creams. Even better than last time, fabulous! So a repeat visit this evening and then back again tomorrow evening, then unfortunately back home!
