Osteria Tosca - LUCCA

À perfect location and a perfect cooking. So nice to be in a local neighborhood and tasting simple, local, tasty cooking.

We stayed 8 days in Italy (Cinque Terre and Tuscany). I lived in Rome for 2 years and I think I know Italian food. This was our #1 Italian restaurant for the whole trip. Amazing. It is not Tuscan food but a strong influence from Naples. The cook and his wife are very attentive. The menu is small and it is a good sign. Ingredients are super fresh. Dishes are all excellent. If you stop at Lucca, you should go there !

We ate here after arriving late in Lucca. They served us despite it being past their usual last orders and we had a most enjoyable meal. Lively, friendly, informal and with good food. Excellent value in the heart of Lucca

Bella locale, molto turistica, in una piccola piazza di lussureggiante. sarà complice della lacca commedia. ma per due primi molto normali, con porzioni piuttosto povere e due bicchieri di vino, beh, il conto si sentiva. peccato perché il potenziale sarebbe lì. Ho dato tre stelle per premiare la cortesia e la disponibilità del personale. Sicuramente, come accennato in precedenza, si può sicuramente migliorare.
