Little Mexico - Lufkin

The food looked great... there was a lack of taste not my choice for Mexican food.. I loved the salsa he tasted very fresh.

So I don't want to push this business into the mud because it tries hard. However the food is not my cup of salsa. Actually loved the salsa but did not like any of the other 7 items I tasted. Service wonderful, cleanliness grade A, and decor was cute but you go to a place to eat food that you want to eat. Kitchen was helpful with a food allergy of my dining companion and she liked some of the stuff on her dish so that was a plus.

I could tell the little waitress was new. I ordered the Street Tacos with ground beef with flour tortillas. She repeated the order back, and I agreed..I ended up with steak and corn tortillas. .it was still good food.

This is by far the worst Mexican food we have ever eaten. This restaurant just opened so we thought we would try it out. The waitress and staff were very nice and attentive but the food was a disaster. I mean it really tasted bad, no flavor at all. Both the rice and beans tasted store bought. I ordered the Chili Relleno dinner. It was not cooked long enough and nothing was in it but seeds. The menu said it would be stuffed with beef and cheese. The Chicken Enchiladas were dry too with nothing in them but dry chicken. Even the tortillas were dry. They tasted just like the ones you buy at the store. If you're advertising authentic Mexican food please learn how to cook it.

Food was bland, service was horrid. Another waiter had to bring us chips, the cook had to come out and asked me if I was sure I wanted my food in a certain way. Because the waiter took the wrong order. They gave my girlfriend the wrong food also. All around a horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend.
