Mar Teres Tea Room - Lufkin

One of my favorites! Relax and enjoy one of the most pleasant experiences on earth. I recommend chicken salad, broccoli salad, chicken spaghetti and you must have almond tea. Oh, who I'm fucking It's All Great!

We were a party 3. We all enjoyed our meal, and the service was very good. If we get dessert it is the toasted coconut cream pie which is amazing. Our server suggested a new dessert, a mini peach cake with peach ice cream. We shared one. None of us cared for it. It was VERY RICH! Mar Teres is very good, women especially like it.

I ordered soup and sandwich which both were delicious. One of the best Tomato Basil soups I've ever eaten with half a Chicken Salad on a Crescent. And the Toasted Coconut Pie was amazing. MarTeres Tea Room was a fabulous adventure in sharing lunch with dear friends.

Servers were very attentive. Food was flavorful. Desserts absolutely amazing!

This eating spot is a jewel of Lufkin!! Everything is fresh, and the service is impeccable. Very friendly staff. They have a cute, little gift shop up front where you can find items that I've not seen anywhere else. HIGHLY recommended to make reservations if you want to dine in, but they do have To Go orders. Limited hours, too, so check website.
