McDonald’s - Lugano

Trying to avoid a costly hotel breakfast we ventured for a standard coffee and breakfast menu. We found McDonald's shut at 9am but the McCafe open. Very limited menu, croissant, donuts and coffees. I asked for an apple juice seen in the fridge but was told it was not for sale! After selecting a poor and limited menu I found that it was cash only. At this point I had to leave. You expect basic from macs but this was sub standard.

Prime location, however customer service was absolutely horrible. Restaurant area was dirty, and food was cold. Don't usually have high expectations when ordering fast food and normally would not review a McDonalds or other fast food chains. Would not go back to this location.

Average MacDonald’s, but the perfect location can compensate this. It is situated at the very center, on the lake shore, in walking distance from main attractions, pear and Parco Civico. Tasty coffee and good espresso is 1 Euro. Keep it in mind if you would like to rest on the terrace with air condition. You can also buy a lunch a have a picnic on the nearest bank on the lakes' shore just 5 meter away.

Wouldn't ordinarily review a McDonald's but the coffee bar in this one was very nice. Can either drink your coffee in their nice atrium area or take it across the street and sit on a lakeside bench.

Had a good space and same old food like every other mac noting different from other macdonalds i have seen
