A friend of mine suggested I check this place out, and I ended up doing more than just looking! I bought two plates of cancer fetters and two links of smoked bougain, and they were absolutely delicious. The staff at the checkout were very friendly and answered all my questions. Very impressed by the available selection of options on the market, but the pig-talloin-plate lunch I got was seasoned as only Southern folks know about it!!!

I’ve had cracklings and boudin from all over, but their cracklings are as good as any you will find. I prefer extra seasonings when I order them fresh. Call 10-15 minutes ahead and ask for fresh cooked ones and you won’t regret it! I personally prefer boudin with less rice but it’s still great tasting boudin for SE Texas.
