Shop on the Corner - Lunenburg

This small coffee shop is the must-visit spot in Lunenburg.

Being a devoted meat eater, I was hesitant to try the veggie sandwich at this restaurant. However, I was pleasantly surprised - it was absolutely delicious! The bread was fresh and everything in the sandwich was top-notch.

We wanted to get a lighter lunch after we'd been having seafood all week, and we were able to get a nice veggie pizza and side salad with fruit that was very tasty. The coffee was very good (I got Laughing Whale, iced) and my husband got a really refreshing Italian soda. After the meal you can look around the gift shop filled with ground coffee, cooking oils, and kitchen ware. Very nice place to go for lunch or a quick coffee.

We were searching for a place to eat and came across the Shop on the Corner, which turned out to be perfect! We tried a variety of dishes and all of them were delicious. The staff was friendly and they had a great selection of kitchen and gift items.

We visited the Shop on the Corner several times for coffee, the name sake blend is worth a try although my fav coffee is the Rock Your Boat which sadly the shop did not have brewed. The local baked goods are delicious. I had a cheese biscuit and the olive and goat cheese twirl or twist is a must try!
