The Orange Tree Public House - Lusaka

A chilled local place, where locals and expats mix really well. This place is great for both delicious food, and a Friday hangout. Their bar has pretty much everything you might want, and their pizzas are pretty much the best in town. Once in a while over Fridays and Saturdays they have a DJ or a live band, so it's also perfect for a weekend party.

I am so happy to have stopped here at the behest of my wife! The setting was spectacular, with the wide open pool fields and large lawm with playground making it feel like a little house on a prairie. The food was great! I was especially impressed by the Sushi quality and flavor. The burger was cooked perfectly and the cornflake crusted chicken sandwich was a pleasant surprise! The warmth of the sunny day was held at bay by the extra large Malawi Shandies (500ML! . I highly recommend this place for a lazy Sunday (or any day afternoon!
