Lal Quilla - Lymington

Don't forget the date - November 7th - when we enjoyed delicious papadams, flavorful pilau rice, and a tantalizing curry at Lal Quilla. Dining there was a thrilling experience and we can't wait to go back again.

My family and I enjoyed a delightful meal at this restaurant, with a variety of interesting dishes on the menu. I opted for my favorite, the chicken tikka balti, which was the most delicious I have ever had. Our waiter was very friendly and the kids also enjoyed their food, which is always a plus! The restaurant had beautiful, modern decor and was truly a treat. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Our experience at the restaurant was awful. We were charged too much for nearly everything we ordered. Throughout the evening, the staff argued loudly near our table. The manager was very impolite when we questioned the bill. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs. They seem to take advantage of the fact that a lot of their customers are tourists, so they don't care about repeat business.

Rude unhelpful staff with the worst Indian food I have ever seen, swimming in oil, all four of us will never return, so many good places in the area don't waste your time here

We hadn’t booked the restaurant but really fancied a curry. We walked into the restaurant and up to the reception counter/bar. There was a man at the bar opening a bottle of wine, (subsequently found out he is the manager) he didn’t look up we waited about 2 minutes while he struggled with the wine bottle without as much as a smile or “I’ll be with you in a minute, no eye contact, nothing. A waiter appeared after a while, the manager said something and the fella offered us a **** table by the door, saying sit there. We just walked out, I’ve never had such dreadful service. When I said something to the man as we were leaving he said “what, do you want, shall I do a dance for you” Unbelievable.
