Cafe Canela - Lynwood

I loved the horchata coffee frappe. The decoration is very artsy and makes you feel in Mexico. Good vibes, good coffee, good people!

I can say this is one of the best is “cafe de olla” I’ve had it starts at 3.00-3.75 . No complaints on my part . The ladies are real nice too good customer service. The atolle is good as well they have different flavors I’ve only had the vanilla and strawberry highly recommended. The “molletes” are good simple food but good (bolillo with beans garnished with cheese and salsa) but note it does take not because they are slow but because it’s made from scratch and I say worth the wait. They take phone orders as well. I always come back for the “cafe de olla” . There’s plenty of outdoor seating and are open early. Located in The outside of Plaza Mexico.

The place is good but the hot coffee is not served. I asked to change it for another and they wanted to charge me for it from a man who is the manager who is terrible at serving and arrogant....

We stopped here for coffee and dessert, the place is a bit old and needs to be cleaned and dusted, in general the restaurant is cozy, there are only three tables inside but more seating is available outside, but if you stay outside be prepared to smell smoking or weed from people passing by. We ordered Expresso and sweet bread, the coffee was really good and the bread was okay, not really amazing, lots of pictures on the wall from famous people, specially Jeni Rivera, but this area is dirty and definitely should be cleaned. The restroom is clean and lots of free parking is available.
