Le Florentin - Lyon

We stopped here for lunch. A cute restaurant in the heart of Lyon's 6th arrondissement. The food was delicious, pumpkin veloute and jamon iberico with green salad for starters, pork belly with potatoes and an amazing lamb with vegetables that simply melted in your mouth....Crepe suzette and cafe gourmand for desserts and with a pot of Cote du Rhone 58 euros for two. Excellent choice.

We stopped for a lunch as the menu looked good for us (we don't eat meat/fowl). I had the veloute and my husband had the prawn salad. Both were very good. For main we both had the salmon with peppers and green beans. Well cooked...and delicious. We'd had enough at that point and a third course would just have been too much as portion sizes were ample. It wasn't overly busy and while the front of house team were pleasant it was just lacking a little bit in atmosphere as it was relatively quiet. Having said that there are clearly locals who eat there often and who get a very warm welcome. I would recommend it on the basis of the food and the general decor is very appealing and looks pretty new.

A Saturday noon in stormy weather ... very few customers. We'll have lunch in 4 indoors. arrangement and very pleasant decor of a contemporary light. Too bad there are so many plastic plants! a menu with 2 dishes, a large bottle of mineral water and a beer starch

Nice reception.Decor of the room full of taste, destructed lustres. The plate is on the appointment, it is always very good.Quality ratio impeccable price.

Good meal overall. good quality / price ratio. However unwelcome, the person in the room showed too much stress ..
