Good Day Cafe - Mackinac Island

I was really looking forward to trying the Apple Pie chai, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment—and pricey, too. The worst part was when I asked for a regular chai instead, expecting a courteous response as most places would offer to make things right for a dissatisfied customer. Instead, the staff member loudly and angrily declared for everyone in the restaurant to hear, “So I’m just supposed to make you something new because you don’t like it?” I was completely mortified. What a truly terrible experience. I would give it ZERO stars.

The service was outrageous. We waited 20 minutes for a "pre-made" meal, as the cashier informed us. When we inquired about our order number, the cashier rolled their eyes and simply grabbed our meal to hand it over.

It is ludicrous that they charge an extra dollar for an extra cup. We only want it to prevent our 5-year old from creating a mess. You've already made plenty of profit from overpriced ice cream. No need to take advantage of the cups too. First time we've ever been charged for a cup and we are full time travelers that buy plenty of ice cream in tourist areas.

I stopped by for some ice cream and was pleasantly surprised by what we sampled. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm in Mackinac.
