Chili's Grill - Macon

I admit, I can be hesitant to restaurants that I didn't try, but I honestly can't wait to go again! They have their menu and for the first time in a dae I saw a menu that I would eat a lot! They have so many unique foods that sound delicious and smell! we have constantly asked other tables what they have ordered. the waiter was new, but very patient and super helpful. while they were packed, sat a bus of students outside on the terrace, it never changed our waiting period. we left us full, happy and excited for the next visit.

Family dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. we had a party of 9 and we sat in the outside area covered by the elements. very nice day for it! tyler was our server and he managed all our needs seamlessly. the food was super tasty, each order was right. tyler had great humor without trying to be humorous! many thanks for the excellent service delicious food.

Waitress was very kind and friendly. Was attentive to the request of her customers, which a few and far between for servers in these days. The food was hot when served and was very good to the taste.

It was your typical Chili's establishment. Very nice, good customer service, reasonable prices. Only issue I had were that they stated they were at capacity (pandemic capacity) which meant their were many booths and seats open but they were on s shortage of silverware. We received our food but could not eat. We had to ask for plastic utensils which (something they should have suggested or waited until they found eating utensils to bring out our food) our food was cold by the time we received utensils to eat with. It messed up the experience. The food was cold but it was good.

Definitely not the worst experience, but definitely not the best either. Perhaps best described as an average experience this visit. First the good: Clean well kept location. Was greeted and seated promptly Server was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Food was delivered in a timely manner and it looked appetizing as expected. My wife's food was exactly what she expected, no surprises. However, and here we get to the bad, and it wasn't awful, just let's say disappointing and not up to the normal high standards to which Chili's normally performs. I ordered the the avocado bacon chicken lunch sandwich. It looked good, but the chicken was dry with no sauce/condiments at all on the sandwich. That wasn't the worst part, because the creaminess of the avocado gave some help in that regard. The side order of roasted asparagus was well undercooked. They tasted in the range of 50 to 75% done at best. Some may like that crunchiness, but it fails to meet my expectations. I did mention to the server, and she apologized for the underdoneness.
