Fish N' Pig - Macon

I've probably had about half the menu by now. I'm NEVER disappointed. The staff is absolutely amazing and Will's bandstand is perfect. 11/10

"This restaurant is located beautifully right on the water with plenty of parking available. They offer a wide variety of dining options, including alligator. The food arrived promptly and hot, although it could have used more seasoning for my taste. Overall, it's a great place to take a date or the family."

I debated between 4 and 3 stars but ultimately settled on 2. There was a lot of hype surrounding this place and the views were amazing! However, the food was just average. Everything seemed to be fried, and a bit too much at that. A lighter touch would bring out more natural flavors. Additionally, the service was subpar. The tables were dirty, the utensils appeared to have never been cleaned, and getting a drink or refill took forever. And no beer available!? The only reason I would consider returning is to sit outside with a cigar.

This charming restaurant by the lake is simply adorable. The staff were incredibly polite and the customers were all friendly. I had a great time during my visit, we came for drinks and karaoke after hearing about the fun at the lake. I will definitely be a regular guest at this place. Even though I live in North Georgia, I have saved this place on my Google maps and will make sure to visit again. This will be my go-to spot whenever I'm in the Macon area. I can't wait to try the food next time, as the atmosphere there is truly unmatched. Overall, this is an amazing place to be.

My man and I spent our first year here. the landscape was beautiful. the band played well. the customer service was great. eating is too expensive. it had little to no season and my husband did not eat his food. his offers were not made and his ribs were fried hard. it looked like wood. that was our first and last time.
