S S Cafeteria - Macon

I believe that S&S Cafeteria in Macon, Georgia, especially the one on Riverside, is the best restaurant within a 50-mile radius. It's always clean, offers delicious, home-style food served cafeteria-style, and has friendly staff. I love returning there because they make you feel welcome, and you can actually see the food you’re choosing from. The Riverside location stands out to me because it feels cleaner, the staff are more professional and easy to interact with, and there's always plenty of food on the buffet—nothing ever runs out.

I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. The food was subpar, and to make matters worse, I found hair in my meal. When I brought this to their attention, they simply told me to sit down. That’s poor customer service. I will definitely not be returning. Food rating: 1/5.

My family and I love S S cafeteria. We are from Florida and travel through Macon quite often going to visit family in Chicago. We make it a point to stop and get food from you guys even if we aren’t hungry.Today, Miss Sharon went above and beyond for us. We all just really wanted a bunch of your crazy good mac cheese, and didn’t realize for a larger order of mac cheese, you need to place an order at least 6 hours in advance. Miss Sharon worked with the cook to get us a half pan of mac cheese as walk in customers. The hospitality was, as usual, amazing. We love you guys so much. Thank you Miss Sharon!!!!PS your iced tea is out of this world delicious

Food sometimes is burnt taste bad. Spoke to Tabitha the manager at Eisenhower Parkway. She left the phone no longer would talk I had just said to her I can 't reach anyone . Don 't answer their phone or said when did reach someone after multiple times that person had bad attitudes when talking to them. Tabitha said to me last week week of 1-7 of May 2023, when I ask for a complete refund they do not give refunds. But what they can do was replace the food really. I don 't think I wouldaccept more food might put something bad in it. I will talk soon with someone higher up.
