Fish on Fire - Madgaon

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. We stopped by for lunch and were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating manager. Despite being in a hurry, they were able to prepare a freshly cooked meal for us in just 45 minutes. We were the first customers of the day and decided to try their inkfish, Pomphretfruit, and rice with fish curry. The fish curry was undeniably one of the best I had during my trip to Goa - the fish was fresh and it felt like they had just caught it for us. The prices were very reasonable, and they also offer a selection of beer and alcohol.

I apologize for writing this review from an English perspective. My friends and I just returned home from lunch and I can't help but wonder why we hadn't discovered this hidden gem sooner. It may be easy to overlook this restaurant as just another local spot, but don't be fooled! The food here is truly amazing. From the spicy Bombay curry to the flavorful prawn curry and rice, everything is cooked to perfection and tastes delicious. The way the fish is prepared, allowing you to easily remove the bones and eat it with your hands, is simply incredible! Just be aware that the fish can be quite sharp if you're not prepared for it. Our vegetarian friend enjoyed the tadka dal and paratha, which she said was excellent. Thank you for a memorable meal.

Good dishes of various types of fishing available to reasonable trips. decent place to a lot of goat fish and also quantity is ok.

During our trip to South Goa, we enjoyed the delicious fish dishes at Fish on Fire. The appetizers were also excellent, and the garnish was absolutely delicious.

Best known for fish items. Tasty and reasonable restaurant for fish lovers. Only drawback here is some people might not be comfortable to bring in their family. Would suggest to have a separate section for family. Rest all the things are nice.
