Ollie - Madison Heights

I absolutely adored this restaurant, it was fantastic. I dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $10-20. The food was a 5, service a 3, and atmosphere a 4. I highly recommend trying the Chicken with Broccoli in Garlic Sauce.

After my first review three years ago, I decided to give Ollie's another chance and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement. The entrees were delicious, although I noticed that the red rice seemed more like Spanish Rice than Chinese in both appearance and taste. The egg rolls were a standout. The menu no longer includes Japanese dishes, only Chinese options. While there are better Chinese restaurants available, Ollie's is still a good choice. I ordered take-out, so I cannot comment on the ambiance, but it is worth noting that the staff did not speak much English.

The soup had a strong chemical taste and had to be discarded. The office ordered lunch for a large group and found it to be inedible. They were not willing to provide a refund or credit. It is best to avoid this restaurant.

The restaurant is decent. It may not be the best, but it's affordable. Great for a fast Asian takeout fix. The service is for takeout only, perfect for dinner. Expect to spend around $10-20 per person.
