Mangia Italian - Madison

This restaurant is a real hidden gem. The food is exceptional, and I highly recommend the baked spaghetti. The portion sizes are generous, and it's some of the best Italian cuisine I've ever had. The service is friendly as well. However, the open table system wasn't functioning properly, so I had to go to the counter, where they seated me immediately.

On a positive note, I want to commend the host staff at Mangia, who explained the situation regarding OpenTable and were able to promptly seat us ahead of other waiting customers. The food was outstanding, especially the lasagna, breadsticks, and superb desserts—especially the lemon meringue cake, which was wonderfully tart and exactly to my liking. My waiter was also excellent; he was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed during our meal. Overall, I wanted to share my experience at Mangia Italian Restaurant. I have included my star ratings in other relevant categories.

The food and service were excellent. However, I recommend avoiding online bookings through OpenTable, as they don't seem to pay attention to reservations. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait, which was a plus. Also, the online menu was misleading; there are no crying dishes, and you can bring your own.

Eating is ineffective and cheap. the staff were super friendly and the atmosphere of the building is welcoming and has a “small city” feeling. I️ cannot imagine going to another Italian restaurant while mangia is an option for me and plan to come back many times.
