Los Pinchitos - Madrid

A really homely little bar with very friendly staff. We came across it by accident and needed a drink we certainly picked the right place! Tapas served with each drink and sometimes even without the drink! Would certainly recommend this little oasis.

We came for a drink and stayed for an hour. Excellent time and wonderful food from the great team here. Would definitely recommend!

Rarely have we been in the situation where we have had to provide negative feedback. On a walking tour shown this place as a typical tapas bar. If this is typical and we know it's not, I don't think we'll visit them. The female waiter was aggressive and rude when we mistakenly sat at the wrong table, the highlighted churos were cold and stale. Won't be going back.

We stumbled upon this small restaurant by accident and went in for a meal. We had the 'Menu del Dia (fixed price) and it was wonderful. For our first dish (served with delicious bread rolls), my wife had a mixed salad with tuna, sort of a Spanish Salad Nicoise, and I had a fideo (beef noodle) soup which was delicious. For our second course, she had fish and chips and I had barbecued pork ribs, both of which had names that we had difficulty translating. But still the dishes were great. Add to this a drink for each and a desert and the whole meal cost 21 euros plus a tip! The restaurant is not fancy. There is a sit down bar, a few tables, and a digital game machine. It was clearly a neighborhood bar/restaurant which was unpretentious. But, if you are hungry and don 't want to spend a lot of money, this is a terrific restaurant.
