Sawadee - Mae Sariang

We were strolling in Mae Sariang and found this cosy bar on the riverside. The owners are super friendly, the crowd isn't the annoying tourist type but an eclectic and vibrant bunch. Thanks Mae and Stuart for this unforgettable Christmas night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stuart and Mae are the absolute best. My friend Kailey and I stopped here on our journey on the Mae Hong Son loop. It was Christmas night, so we came in for just one drink, but it turned into a few. Stuart and Mae treated us like family. They have worked really hard to create such a welcoming environment for locals, expats, and travelers alike. We wish them all the best success and can’t wait to meet again one day. Food: 5

We stopped in at Sawadee whilst overnighting in Mae Sariang. What a wonderful find. We had a truly enjoyable night with great food, drinks and a pool table for my teenage sons to play. Stuart and his wife Mae have done a wondeful job. Fully recommend for anybody passing through.

I happened on this place by accident while on an overnight in Mae Sariang, such a great vibe, the place is spotless, nice music really good bar and the best green curry fried rice I’ve ever had. The owner runs a great show and his wife is the cook. If you are doing the Mae Hong Son loop it’s worth spending a night in Mae Sariang to have a meal and a couple of drinks here. One of my highlights of the trip.
