Dante's Trattoria - Mahopac

Ordered a large plain pie and was asked right away to pay. I was then told the pizza would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 10 minutes later and was asked to pay second time. Upon my original entry, no other customers was asked to pay for their orders except for myself. Mind you, I was the only person there of African American descent. I suggest people of my nationality to spend their money at the Trattoria of Carmel instead of Mahopac, the customer service in Carmel is much appreciated!!!

The young waitress I had on 2 visits is pleasant and professional. The very thin piece of veal on a wedge I had was indistinct and couldn't be tasted. Overwhelmed by bread. Dantes is my favorite restaurant in the area! The food is always fresh and tasty and the service is always wonderful. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful when it comes to traditional Italian cuisine, you cannot find a better place.
