The Chicken Rib Crib - Mahwah

Our go-to spot after a long weekend! We don't even need delivery because we call ahead and pick up our order warm. The wings are absolutely the best. We always add a pizza, some ribs, and of course, a side of onion rings. Grab all your favorites, catch a good show on TV, and you're all set!

It has been a few years since I last ordered from this restaurant, and I decided to call ahead to confirm my special instructions due to some issues with their app. Overall, I can't complain; the food quality is definitely better than the prices suggest. It's a solid option for fast food in this area. I would rate them four stars because there was a mistake with my order. Mistakes happen—we're all human, after all. I hope the manager is still around. The last time I ordered from the Ramapo College sculpture center, he shared with me about an incident he had there. Some people say the place has gone downhill, so I hope he’s doing okay. You really can't beat their chicken dinner prices anywhere else. Just a note: I requested for the 24k gold sauce to be served on the side.

I ordered chicken ribs from a restaurant via GrubHub at 5:30 PM during a busy workweek. I requested the delivery for 7:30 PM to allow enough time to get home from work before the food arrived. However, at 6:30 PM, I was notified that the food had been delivered an hour early. It was a chilly 18°C outside, and the food was left outside my garage. After asking a neighbor to bring the food inside, I reached out to the restaurant to inform them of the situation. They offered to replace the food when I returned to town. Later, when I was home for dinner, the owner, Danny, called to talk about what had happened. He was understanding and apologetic, which I appreciated. It's refreshing to see a business owner who takes the time to communicate with customers when things go wrong. The staff at this restaurant are friendly, accommodating, and work hard to do their jobs.

So far all their food is pretty good, although the wings are small in size
