Went here for a working business lunch. Friendly welcome, attentive service, nice basic/simple food. Sufficiently large to offer some privacy. Only issue sticky table ! . Would certainly use again.

BOOKED SUNDAY AT FOR PEOPLE. ARRIVED ON TIME, SHOWN TO TABLE AND LEFT FOR MINUTES BEFORE DRINK ORDER TAKEN, DRINKS ARRIVED MINUTES LATER. ORDERED ROAST TURKEY AND ROAST PORK FOR MY WIFE, HAVE GOT TO SAY IT WAS THE WORST MEALS WE HAVE HAD IN YEARS,FOOD WAS BLAND AND TASTELESS, ROAST POTATOES WERE NOT COOKED AND GREASY. WE LEFT OUR MEALS AND PAID THE BILL,AT NO POINT DID ANYBODY ASK IF FOOD WAS ALRIGHT EVEN WHEN WE PAID AND LEFT EARLY.VERY FEW STAFF AND A DONT CARE ATTITUDE. WILL NOT BE EATING THERE EVER AGAIN.

Had our Work Christmas meal at the Chiltern Hundreds yesterday we have been there each year for the past years and this years experience was by far the worst. Service was appallingly slow and so a lunch ended up taking hours which in previous years took hours at a push The roast turkey was my main, the Yorkshire pudding was definitely an Aunt Bessies own absolutely tiny and you only got one. Two roast potatoes with roast parsnips and bits of roast carrot.The only positive was the chocolate brownie pudding which i'd recommend to anyone.If you want to charge the amount you do, you should definitely invest in some more waiting staff and get your quantities right for the amount you charge. Produce your own Yorkshire puddings instead of getting a frozen pack of Aunt Bessies.

I often meet friends for lunch or a drink at the Chiltern Hundreds as it's a great halfway meeting place. Once inside it's easy to forget that it's only seconds away from the and as the atmosphere is one of a smart but traditional pub. The light bites menu offers a good snack selection as well as the choice of an extensive menu and specials' boards. Main meals range are averagely priced between approx and I understand that the Sunday roast is very good but very popular!

A really good gluten-free menu, finally in a boxy restaurant. we visited to lunch and had a nice meal, with nice staff and well cooked food. another plus was the use of tesco clubcard benevolent so it was a very good meal. we will definitely return.
