Zum Olivenbaum - Mainz

Visit friends in mainz, bretzenheim we decided to eat in one of their favorite location Italian jagden, the olive tree. we have all decided for something else, pizza, fish and leber, and each of us was very impressed by our eating. my fish, delicately made in a mild butter sauce with a side cooked potato and vegetables, was the hit of the evening. while the restaurant has been at this place for decades, it is only a few years to go before the good owner will tear down the restaurant and build condominiums. I think the opposite needs a few more good restaurants instead of more condos!. Try it before it's good. the personal is the most controversial and their suggestions were at the top. the restaurant is very good. most dishes were Italian, the fish are excellent.

The food was thoroughly good - from pizza to meat and very delicious fish to tiramisu (big portion). easier to pull off due to brothcrumbs on the table top and the ease of service is still upgradeable.

We regularly come to this pretty restaurant, which is humblely attached to a tennis hall, but also has a large terrace to the garden. eating here is reliable very good. the menu is always supplemented by a tag card with current recommendations. is the fast fish that is regularly offered here. especially in the afternoon, but also in the evening you can eat here very cheaply, the prices are 30% below those of the city. we are always served attentively, politely and promptly. miscellaneous in the service, about which other users report here, we have neither experienced nor observed.

Added, the competition is not very large in bretzenheim, but it is important to know a restaurant where you can eat well and that you can definitiw in the olive tree. large round - and all were satisfied.

The lamb chops were really good; the grilled vegetables rather moderate. the service okay, no more. we sat in the back part of the local, rather dark and narrow. and above all loud by the close sitting neighbors, a maintenance difficult possible. the front part is brighter and more attractive.
