Chinh's Vietnamese Restaurant

Hadn't been to Chinh's since they moved to the new site near Fratelli Roma!I was so pleased that the food standard had not budged. We had the prawn and pork hand rolls (fresh rice paper) and the quail entree which was enormous and scrumptious!!!We finished with chilli and lemongrass chicken and boiled rice.The food is delicious, the value is phenomenal and the service is friendly.Do it tonight...

We came here for a random date night after driving around for half an hour. So glad we did! We got the Combination Hot Pot and it was amazing!! So much meat and seafood and the broth was so flavoursome!! Will certainly be returning :) :)

Have tried this rstaurant a few times when in the Maitland Mall. Last week we ordered a take away; 3 dishes (Prawns, fish & Chicken) & Fried Rice. The rice had the best taste, the other three dishes were bland & uninteresting. It does not taste like the super fresh flavours of Vietnam and the menu is a jumble of different dishes from other Asian countries. Will be making my own at home next time without the pre bottled sauces.

Visited this restaurant for dinner with my family to celebrate my birthday. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and personable and the owner came and chatted to us about her homeland Vietnam. The food was tasty and the menu had loads to choose from. The actual premise was a bit dingey and a little cramped but the wonderful service and food more than compensates for that. It is very popular amongst locals for both takeaway and eating in. A good time had by all.

Food really good. Tasty, fresh. Service really attentive and prompt, even though waitress gave us a warning could be 30 minutes. We said we were really hungry after walking out of next door (Marmut and poons or something like that) after an hour wait and no food. Food came out super fast. Even the other waitress was super attentive - and all really friendly. To top it off, owner came out at end to ask if everything was okay. Yes - damn yes. Thank you! Left a nice tip which was richly deserved!
