Haliimaile General Store - Makawao

This place was very good. Service was great Tim was very attentive and pointed to the “Krowd” favorites. Our table had the Ono special, the Macadamia nuts encrusted mahi mahi mahi and the Wagu Burger. All dishes were wonderful. We enjoyed our dinner!

Large selection of cooked food, all fresh. Most of them are referred locally if possible. Fresh fish seafood is always delicious. My husband is not a fish-eater and Haliimaile is still one of his favorite restaurants. Excellent ambience.

Great “tai mai” cocktails. Great salad and entrees. Pineapple upside down cake was dry.

Had another nice dinner here with friends. Even under new management the food and service is still excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal. Amazing food: wonderful flavors, local ingredients, noodles had the perfect texture, nice variety on the menu (vegetarian, gluten free, fish, steak). Open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking; ambiance feels like you are eating in a friend’s home. This is our one “must do” every time we visit Maui.
