Jamaica Mi Hungry - Malden

A fantastic Jamaican restaurant right next to Jackson Square. I often get the coconut chicken and it is absolutely delicious! The rice and beans are cooked perfectly and go with the crispiness of the chicken really well.

24.00 for 7 oxtail that are not fall off the bone tender, cooked with onions, thick not so tasty gravy. Skimped on the rice/peas with 10 peas, the plantain is dry AF. I'm soooooo dissapointed. I feel taken advantage of and for that reason alone, I will never eat here again. Yuck! Waste of my hard earned .

Got Uber eats and it was so good!! Everything was hot (even the beef patty). It was my first time trying this spot and it was a great experience. I ordered the goat curry with stewed vegetables and a beef patty. The meal was $25 (extra $3 for the veggies) and the patty was $5. Little pricey but I think delivery always costs more than in store.

We hired Jamaica Mi Hungry to provide catering for our daughter's bat mitzvah this spring. Our experience all around was absolutely spectacular. Communication with restaurant/catering staff was always very easy and smooth (and they were super responsive all along), the folks we worked with were generous, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, and importantly, the food was simply outstanding. We heard glowing feedback about the food from SO MANY of our guests. We're so grateful to have worked with these folks, and to have this gem of a restaurant right in our neighborhood. Can't recommend more highly!

We got takeout from here last night. Loved the coconut shrimp, ribs, plaintains, dill slaw, rice and beans, and brussel sprouts. Just the right amount of spicy and great variety of flavors. This will become a go-to for us.
