Cafe At The Getty Villa - Malibu

I love this place. A beautiful environment. Food is surprisingly good. No ordinary museum dinner!

Great museum, worth a visit. Eating here is expensive, so bring your own lunch with you.

While this place is a little pricey, most entrees are easily shareable. The patio was quiet, clean and scenic. Highly recommend stopping here if you have a chance to visit the Getty Villa

Love love the portobello mushroom sandwich, have had it 2x, soooo good! The sauce is pesto, mustard and mayo. Yum!!!

The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service. The waitstaff who brought our food and cleared our table were cheerful and courteous. We noticed other servers were just as friendly and attentive. Since the payment is made in advance in a cafeteria style, it seems they are well-compensated and well-trained. They even offer an afternoon tea for $38 per person, which is something to consider for our next visit. One downside: the napkins left lint on my sweater, so I’ll need to bring a lint brush next time!
