Johnnie's New York Pizzeria - Malibu

This is about the closest thing to New York Style pizza that I have found in LA. I love the large slices and chewy crust. What this place lacks in diversity of toppings it more than makes up for in quality. They also have a decent beer selection and the dining area is comfortable and a nice place to meet up with friends.

Been going here for years. Haven’t found any other place in LA with as consistent quality. Other places are good most of the time. Johnnies is good all of the time. Never had a less than perfect pizza here. Only down side was after several years of going here we only just learned they have a buy 10 get one free stamp card because we saw someone else pull one out to get stamped while paying. We could have earned so many free pizzas by now. Oh well time to start now. A little bit more expensive than other places but also in one of the most expensive rent areas of the city so it makes sense, also better and more consistent quality so it’s always been worth it.

The pizza, salad, and garlic knots were delicious! The service was friendly and the location was amazing. Situated on a small hill at the corner of a quiet side street, it felt safe and perfect for families. It had a romantic charm unique to the city. Despite being across from the Century City Mall, it felt like a secluded paradise. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. I absolutely loved it.

The salad was bursting with flavor. The smoked chicken pate was light yet flavorful. The waitress was fantastic; she had a great smile and provided excellent service. You don't know what you're missing out on!

The pizza, salad, and bread knots at this restaurant are excellent! The service is friendly and the location is truly amazing. Situated on top of a small hill at the corner of a quiet side street, it's a safe and peaceful spot for families. Surprisingly romantic for the city, it offers a secluded feel despite being across from Century City Mall. We enjoyed sitting outside and the overall experience was lovely. Highly recommend.
