Swahili Cafe - Malindi

The food here is authentic and delicious, with very reasonable prices. The service from the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something other than pizza or pasta! The pilau and coconut beans, along with the veggie samosas, were all fantastic. The fresh mango juice was also incredible.

I absolutely love this restaurant and make it a point to dine here every time I visit Watamu. The food is local and absolutely delicious, with prices that are very reasonable. The fish in coconut sauce was fantastic, as were the pilau and beans. The service is quick and efficient. Hadhir, the owner, is also a very friendly guy.

I really enjoyed the food here, especially since they were able to accommodate our vegetarian preferences. The service was excellent; they kept our little one entertained and even turned on the TV for her. The tamarind juice was incredibly delicious! Overall, it’s a fantastic value for what you receive.

Swahili Cafe is out of this world! The food pilau, mbuzi, coconut fish and rice is to die for. The owner and the staff are so sweet and freely interacts with the clients. Such a simple set up with lifetime experience! Did I mention how good the tea was? And mahamri? And their soup? I could easily write a whole book about the awesomeness of this place.
