Chef David truly exceeded our expectations! His engaging and informative approach delighted our guests as he artfully described each dish. Not only was the food exquisite, but Chef David also seamlessly catered to our vegetarian guest's needs without compromising the meal's quality or its flow. Accompanying him, Chef Celeste also shone with her exceptional skills. Together, they masterfully orchestrated our party, ensuring its resounding success. Down to Earth provided a wonderful buffet style meal for our wedding around the Olympic Rainforest. Early on in contact, David contacted us personally and was extremely friendly and curious about us and what our thoughts and feelings were, why we picked the location etc. This created a real personal connection with the service and made us comfortable with our choice!As for the food, David came out and prepared everything to roll out right after our ceremony in buffet style. Every dish was delicious, and folks left almost nothing in the way of leftovers. He cleaned up every last dish and the entire kitchen before heading out and there was 0 stress in the entire event's food. Amazing.I highly recommend these guys!

10/10 will hire Down to Earth again! This was my second time working with them... my guests from the first time are still raving about the pistachio-crusted rack of lamb and the wonderful service! Chef Tom is personable, professional, and just a delight to work with.

Pros- Owner, Chef David, obviously cares not just about his business but about his employees- All private chefs were delightful to work with; clever, friendly, and efficient- Chef Thomas nailed our requests for non-European foods , made incredibly impressive menus for such comparatively cheap grocery listsCons- Administrative issues- Multiple times people were supposed to reach out to us for various things but did not- Every time the ball was dropped, Chef David seemed to be the only one handling things instead of a 2nd in command or an admin- Multiple times notes were not taken or transferred, resulting in mistakes/delays for the chefsBottom Line: Service was absolutely worth it and allowed us to eat healthy, diverse foods despite hectic schedules. We will be back!

I brought in Down to Earth for a dinner party for eight at my home and they exceeded expectations. It was worth every cent. They came early, brought everything they needed, cooked and served a three course meal, and cleaned up after. I could not tell there was a dinner party at my house. They were professional and kind while helping me navigate the dietary challenges of all my guests and come up with the perfect menu. I will absolutely use them again and start enjoying my parties instead of working them.
