With just three exceptions, everything on the menu is gluten-free. They take great care to package food separately and change gloves to prevent cross-contamination. The bacon is out of this world, and the beans and greens will definitely bring me back. However, it's the juicy BBQ and house-made sausage that have really won me over. Plus, they even have a sink in the dining room, because Jim knows you’ll need more than one wipe after enjoying all that BBQ!
It seems like the people here haven't truly experienced good BBQ. The food was drier than a desert. I shouldn't have to judge based on my own preferences. The BBQ sign feels more like a claim only Jimmy would make. On the plus side, the meat is very reasonably priced, and Jimmy is really friendly.
The food was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. I would definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again.
Delicious Bbq!! Al of the flesh we got was tender and had amazing sauces to accompany them. The staff was also super nice! Only one complaint is they don't have AC, but sitting outside was nice:
This review is August 1st, 2022. I went there the day before. I was looking for a BBQ place and Google maps pointed me here. It 's about a 20 minute drive from Exton, so I drove there. Their site showed that they open at 10 am, so I arrived at 10:05. Walked up to the door however it was locked. And it was dark inside. So as I stated to walk away, a young lady inside ran to the door and unlocked it and apologized. So I walk in to a large room that had to be easily 100 degrees. ?. I understand that it 's a BBQ place, but where 's the air conditioning or any ventilation? So I walked up to the counter to place my order TO GO (I would have eaten in, but it was almost 40 degrees cooler outside. I ordered a Brisket sandwich, and asked the girl if it was on a ROLL. She said yes. I said I don 't want it on a 'burger ' bun, but she assured me that it was a roll. Also order their Dirty Corn. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. I get home, sit down and open the plastic container. To my dismay, the brisket on a BUN. (Not the roll that we discussed). I picked up the bun to take a bite, and of course the entire sandwich fell apart. Buns get SOGGY with 'hot ' meat on them.. So I pulled out a fork and knife, cut up the sandwich, and began eating it one bite at a time. Opened the container of dirty rice, which was loaded with celery (hard to digest) and put a fork full in my mouth. The corn was hard. It was sweet. It was inedible. And the brisket was tough, stringy and had some fat on it. Bottom line is I certainly don 't blame the girl for the quality of the food, but certainly for NO ROLL. This is my review..
