Ped's Kafe - Malvern East

Went to Ped's for dinner with the girls this week.Food was great coconut prawns were delicious as were the curry and chicken dishes. Presentation is excellent and the pancakes with green custard and coconut ice cream yummy.The noise level is a bit much concrete floor doesn't provide good acoustics and they need to do something about an automatic close on the front door as it's freezing and annoying to have to get up to keep closing if

This restaurant is one of our locals, and is always fabulous. The food is very fresh and ingredients are good quality. You can also get take away here, which is handy as the restaurant is quite small and is always busy. You can BYO or they have a selection of wine and beer on the menu.

Stopped in after years of seeing a fairly full hours when drive home from work. We had starters of dumplings & spring rolls which fresh & presented in shot glasses submerged in sauce nicely.The chicken basil wok toss was perfect, fresh veggies & gassy! SpecialGreen curry was terrific just like Thailand & the noodles were really tasty. Great local Thai which can be few & far between in Melbourne!

It's well worth a visit to this suburban café. Not only is there a great range to choose from but the staff are friendly and helpful. There are gluten free and vegetarian options too.I have been a few times and have found different tasty things to try every time.
