Riserva Wine - Malvern East

First of all, the service was indeed commendable. Our food arrived in a timely manner, and the staff was friendly, although I’m not a fan of them touching my back while refilling my water. It happened a few times during our meal, which made me a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn’t a major issue. One nice touch was that they waited for everyone at the table to finish before clearing away plates, which made for a more relaxed dining experience. For the appetizer, I had the fried buffalo mozzarella sandwich, which was absolutely delightful—light, cheesy, and beautifully presented. My companions tried different dishes and were equally impressed with their choices, which were also well plated. They were out of a couple of items, which I feel is a little disappointing for a restaurant of this level, but these things do happen. For my main course, I opted for the spinach and ricotta gnocchi in a four-cheese sauce, and wow, it was incredible! I enjoyed it so much that I practically cleaned my plate by the time they came to take it away. As for dessert, even though I didn’t really need it, I went for the chocolate mousse tart with raspberry compote and spiced mascarpone. It was beautifully presented, and while I hesitated to dig in, I found the compote a tad too tangy for my taste, though the rest was wonderful. Now, let's talk about value. Yes, it is a bit on the expensive side. I mean, a small can of coke cost me $4. The main dishes might be slightly pricey, but given the quality, it’s understandable. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. They have a fantastic selection of wines and a diverse menu. Parking is fairly easy to find, and the ambiance and interior design are lovely. I will certainly return for a special occasion like a birthday.

Riserva is one of my favorite dinner spots. It boasts a fantastic ambiance, along with exquisite food and wine. The staff is incredibly accommodating when it comes to gluten-free options and always friendly! With a lovely view of Central Park in Malvern, it’s a perfect place for a Sunday night wine.

The waitress was friendly and personable, providing exceptional attention. The wine list was impressive, and the Italian food was rustic and wholesome.

My husband and I just left Riserva and whilst sitting in the car we couldn’t help but reflect on what a charming and welcoming place this is. Whether we’ve been here during the middle of a busy service or on a quiet Saturday afternoon, we get the same attentive and caring service that makes us feel like we have come to a fun family gathering. Effortlessly elegant, we can’t wait to come back to one of our favourites

Super cute local wine shop, bar and restaurant that's brimming with a European art deco casual bistro vibe. The wine list is in pretty much on display. I really liked the by the glass options which were predominantly from vineyards afar. The menu is short but full of quality options that makes decisions very difficult. I'll be back.
