Brooklyn Square Pizza - Manalapan

I'm not always in Sicilian style cakes, but Brooklyn Square knocks it out of the park. There is a subtle sweetness that is unique. This cake was better the next morning.

I was a customer when Peter was in Brooklyn. Big cake with sesame seeds on the crust. My brother from Jersey thought it was the best he ever had. I was with him yesterday and we decided to see if it's as good as Brooklyn. No. It was small, unevenly cut. A hint here and there of sesame seeds. The dough is dense and hard with a lot of crust. It was Floppy. Place is super busy on a Friday and it was an hour waiting for a cake. It definitely didn't have its Brooklyn roots. We were disappointed

Once a good pizza. Unfortunately, it is now always sloppy and understated. After a particularly bad experience I reached the owners. They answered that they are sorry, and they would say good-bye to me, but they gave me a hand.

I just had a pizza that was decent, but I've had better for a lower price. I can't see myself making a half-hour trip to pay $26 when I can find better pizza nearby for less. Overall, it felt like much ado about nothing.

Brilliant restaurant! It feels a bit underrated, or maybe I just hadn't come across it before, but I'm glad I did. The service was outstanding—very polite, friendly, and attentive. The food was delightful, featuring authentic pizza, wonderful pasta, and amazing salads. It truly hit the spot; we're still talking about it the next day!
