La Carreta - Manchester

I visited the South Willow Street location and, like others have mentioned, I found the food to be quite good. However, I had an issue with the service. Our waiter accidentally charged our credit card twice—once for our meal and a second time for another guest. When we realized this double billing, we went back to the restaurant, but they claimed it wasn't their fault. They had the ability to resolve the issue, yet they chose not to assist us.

The entrance is very inviting, but I've noticed that the bar service has been a bit slow lately. The food has always been consistently good, though. They used to have an excellent bartender named Kelly, but she hasn’t been around lately, and it’s definitely noticeable. It's a real shame.

Love it. One of the best places. Food and service. Place is clean, and they make the food the way you like it. Must try it.

I'm from Texas, and when I overnight in Manchester I come here. It reminds me of Tex-Mex from back home. I am impressed for the restaurant being so far north. My favorite is the grilled taco salad with steak

Delicious! We ordered the carnitas and the grande burrito (with steak) topped with chipotle sauce, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, capturing that traditional Mexican restaurant vibe that we love. We were seated promptly, and our drink orders were taken right away. The food arrived in a timely manner—not the fastest, but definitely not slow. The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the prices were reasonable. You absolutely have to try the grande burrito with chipotle sauce. Trust me, it’s incredible. That chipotle sauce is amazing!
