Social House, Manchester, Vt

Outstanding dining experience at the Social House during our recent trip to Manchester. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. We had a few appetizers, main course and desert, all were well prepared, flavorful and truly delicious. We found the prices very reasonable and we will be back for sure.

One of the best culinary experiences ever ... PERIOD!!! On every standard, from any location in the world, through all expectations. Chef Jose Valines simply shows phenomenal. The passion, the aromas, the techniques... You would think you landed in a Michelin star restaurant in New York City, or Miami, or Tokyo, you call it, not in the small city of Manchester, Vermont. The service, the food, the ambience are unforgettable. Thank you house for this lovely dinner.

After a short ski tour to Killington from NJ for dinner stopped. Everything was wonderful, from cocktails and drinks to the starters and main courses. The highlight of our meal should be the grilled octopus. We decided that it was the best we ever had... perfect texture and taste. The coconut potato ravioli were also fantastic. Would definitely recommend and return to Vermont on future trips.

My family was treated to Manchester's newest restaurant during their opening night and were not disappointed. Reservations can easily be made by calling or through the Yelp app connected to their website. We were warmly greeted by Debbie and took the opportunity to check out the bar before being seated. The bar manager Adam welcome us and made sure that our cocktails were made to order, using fresh ingredients. At the table Zach and Alex provided suggestions and delivered our food from the kitchen. The small plates were excellently prepared and amazed our taste buds. Dessert was also amazing. We can't wait to go back again for more great conversations and delicious food.

The food was exceptional. I had the arctic char and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection. We went in the evening and brought our dog, so we sat outside where the atmosphere was pleasant and laid back. Great soft lighting. The server was friendly and the food came out quickly. Our bourbon cocktail and dessert (chocolate cake) were also excellent. We'd love to come back.
