China Kitchen - Manchester

After ordering many times before we've just cancelled our order after 1 hour 45 minutes after being told of an hour wait. Not acceptable to not know where the driver is or be told he's just left for a 5 minute journey and still no sign after 20 minutes. Shame because I love the food here but will have to think long and hard about using again as ruined our evening. If it was a restaurant we would've walked out.

Last three times we have ordered from China kitchen we have waited well over an hour one time being three hours. Tonight when I rang for the third time an hour and half after ordering as to where our food was (was originally told 45 minutes) I was told it's not their fault it's busy it's Saturday night. My advice is only order for delivery if you don't mind excessive waits and to be told five minutes and that it's not their fault. It's a shame really as the food is lovely. Doubt will use again

Good chips, clean, reasonably priced; good range of dishes. It was not far from the hotel where we wee staying.

Finally arrived over an hour and half after the confirmation time. Salt and pepper chips were awful just a portion of chips.

First time trying here, and sadly, we're unimpressed. All our food arrived just about luke warm. We ordered sweet and sour chicken balls (10) but only got 8. They weren't that great either. Small pieces of salty chicken inside a thick, soggy batter which gave them their size. 4/10 The paper bags that the chips and chicken balls arrived in were ripped and shredded, so we ended up fishing some of this out from the plastic carrier bag. The chips are frozen chips that are fried (no issue with this, just a heads up), but they had clearly been left a while! They were hard with thick coating, and the potato inside had all but disintegrated. 1/10. They reminded me of my high school chips back in 1995! We also ordered honey and chilli shredded chicken, which was fine, maybe a little watery, if we were being hyper critical. 7/10 Overall, it was a bad experience.
