Red Chilli - Manchester

This restaurant is a great spot to enjoy a late lunch after the rush has passed. The food was delicious and served hot, while the beer was ice-cold. The restroom facilities were well-maintained. Our server, a young woman, was courteous and accommodating. The noodles and crispy seaweed were especially delicious.

This is probably the best Chinese meal we have ever had! It is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant is just a 5-minute walk from St. Peter's Square tram stop on Portland Street.

This restaurant offers fantastic service and staff, along with absolutely awesome food. I would highly recommend eating here - it's a must-visit for Chinese food if you're ever in Manchester.

Myself and 3 friends paid a visit on a week night and while there was a number of occupied tables we were immediately welcomed and seated. Service was prompt but not overpowering and we never felt pressured to rush or give up our table. We ordered wine from the very friendly staff to accompany the meal which we deciced was to be the set meal for two but for all 4 of us. The menu was a mix of the usual dish choices mixed with what may be considered more traditional. Each course was a delight, fresh and hot and each dish was extremely tasty and the flavours really jumped out. The 'spicy ' dishes were not too spicy and retained their depth of flavour and some of the spices remain a bit of a tasty mystery. There were choices for some of the courses which catered nicely for our varying tastes and was a filling mix without being 'outfacing ' amounts, accompanied with rice and crackers. We had some friends visiting Manchester a couple of days later and we immediately recommended it to them. I 'm absolutely going back there when i 'm next in Manchester.

Visited on a weds early evening, 4 of us enjoying a couple of days in Manc. Red Chilli was recommended as a good place to eat by in laws. Really glad we took their suggestion. We went for one of set menus and all our food was fresh, very tasty and plenty of it. We particularly enjoyed the spicy hot smoked mutton in chilli oil. We weren’t rushed. Our server was attentive but not intrusive, and the bill, with wine, was very reasonable.
