El Mirador de Vichayito - Sushi Bar

As this was the only TripAdvisor restaurant in the area, we found it... And it was awesome! We arrived at 6:50pm after a sunset walk along the beach and found out there was still 10 minutes left of happy hour. 2 for 1 cocktails!! The...passionfruit sours were delicious. Some items on the menu weren't available, but with so much to choose from we had no issue picking something else. We ordered the tuna (raw) in a creamy Ceviche sauce and oh my god it melted in our mouths. It was seriously amazing. It was the best raw fish I've ever had! We also ordered 10 maki, 5 each of two flavours. The spicy tuna was great too. All up we had the two dishes and 3 cocktails and it came to about AUD$35 so not too bad. The portions are typically small so you might spend more to eat more than we ate. It was a great meal in a nice setting on the beach with toes in the sand, and staff were prompt and helpful.

I had recommended this place, from the consideration of the other commentary maybe it was a free day? first, the sign says that besides sushi other foods have, and as I went with my daughter, this was important, good they did not and even...whether they have another traditional restaurant, they could not make anything else for them. the first sushi restaurant where heavy metal and rap blow through the place when I suspect the owners are gone and the workers do what they want. oh and the sushi warns nothing to write about home. not impressed.

We arrived at this sushi bar and it was totally empty, not a good start. There was only one chef and no other staff. Place it self did not look so great, bit poorly. After a while there was a young man coming to take...our order. It took a while before the food came, because the chef left his place a couple times. I first got my nigiris and it was horrible! Rice was over cooked and the salmon really dry and nasty. I did not finish my nigiris! In meantime the boy was staring at me what was not really nice. Then the makis came and again the rice was not cooked good and the fish was not great. We quickly paid and left for another restaurant. Joke cost me almost 100 soles. My wife is the one who brought me here and younger it was great. love the atmosphere, but the service was fantastic

The place is at the end of witschayito and very hidden, but right on the beach. the waiter was very friendly, but it took literally hours for the cook to prepare the sushi and most of them came with a kind of sauce that was...ok but unnecessary and it covered the real taste of the makis completely. so it is a more sushi experience than usual.
